labor day weekend thoughts

i had a longer than usual weekend due to an unexpected day off friday. spent thursday night playing board games at columbia tower, friday-sunday in vancouver eating and wandering around, monday at PAX.

things i have learned:

- my streak of NOT winning at drawings still stands

- people will stop and put on hazards in the middle of heavy traffic to talk on the phone

- merging 5 lanes into 1 on a holiday weekend is never a good idea

- sushi is super cheap in Canada

- ukelele players cannot be murderers. they are too happy

- wii u is now a possibility for my future because of pikmin 3
- canada's perogy platter lays flavor is so far their only experimental flavor i'd buy again
