premise 1: my apartment faces west, sits on 7th (top) floor, and has a single window of ventilation roughly 2x3 feet. since it has no ventilation, it is consistently 15F warmer than the outside temperature
premise 2: seattle is experiencing a heat wave
friday: rental AC unit installed, which becomes the only source of ventilation. within 5hrs of use, it stops cooling. bedroom temp: 84
saturday: replacement AC arrives. within 3hrs of use, it leaks water and needs to stay off. bedroom temp: 86
sunday: another replacement AC arrives. within 6hrs of use, it stops cooling, same issue as friday. bedroom temp: 90
