hermit coming out
1. my desktop is dead. rip my 4yr friend (and good riddance vista!)
2. that said, new photos on hiatus until i figure out a replacement
3. both of my neighbors now have bassy sound systems against my walls =(
4. i have been acting colder towards friends and acquaintances lately... to anyone reading this, sorry. it's mostly unintentional
5. it's official. i'm up a jean size.
6. pinky fingers are important for typing. it becomes painfully obvious once you slam a car door on said pinky...
7. visited 3 farms in 3 weekends for corn mazes and such... yea, 3 is way more than enough.
8. i do feel more relaxed when disconnected from gadgets
9. no more frozen pizza rolls. they destroy my stomach
10. still haven't fixed that bad sleeping habit...

Recipe: the same macaron recipe with 3 Tbsp black sesame powder, and red bean paste filling
I think 2 Tbsp would have been enough. Could have used more filling too. Overall pretty good though. And the cookie shape looks more consistent. Hooray, practice!

Recipes: Same almond with vanilla bean macaron as before and raspberry buttercream for filling
Muuuuch prettier than the first set, though possibly too fat. The lemon curd was more popular among the tasters but these were gobbled up just the same.

1. un-blogged albums: vancouver bc over labor day, last of summer, and THE state fair
2. October weekends are mostly booked. that was quick...
3. my dart skills have improved tenfold thanks to the nerf wars of work
4. jeans are such an unfriendly reminder of how wide i have become
5. i'm over the fear of going out alone... now i need to get over the fear of asking others to join me
6. amusing office remarks: "It's not office politics, more like Game of Thrones." "Wait, most of the good guys die in that..."
7. socializing is better than shopping
8. it's sad we're run by stubborn uncompromising idiots
9. i'm on the crux of some big life change... i think
10. must. change. sleeping. habit.
